Job Description

Bridgemead Consulting is recruiting for the position of marketers on behalf of its client: a beverage (Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic beverages) distribution brand located in the heart of Lagos. The ideal candidate will thrive on remodeling our existing iOS infrastructure and take it to the next level. You will be expected to lead the development of an iOS app on your own with support from the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • •- Design, implement, document and maintain features for different properties of the iOS mobile app.
  • •- Write well tested, performant code and lead code reviews with the team.
  • •- Spearhead new feature design to help our organisation gather customer footprint.
  • •- Monitor systems for functionality, efficiency, and security.
  • •- Collaborate with other across the organization such as product, design, infrastructure, and operations.
  • •- Restructure existing backend built in PHP to offer a faster product management system and improved experience for the system.
  • •- Uphold our high engineering standards and bring consistency to our codebases and processes..
  • •- Conduct API updates to increase application speed and improve the quality of our user experience.
  • •- Other related responsibilities as may be assigned by the organisation

Education & Experience

Academic Qualification (s)

BSc in computer science or software engineering or a related field.

Years of Experience

Minimum of two (2) years’ proven experience working in iOS development using swift.

Other experience

Experience building cloud-based web apps in PHP is crucial.

Other Experience

Experience working with REACT will be an added advantage as well as any experience in eCommerce and payment systems.

Other Experience

Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines
Working Conditions

Work Hours

Monday – Friday 9AM – 6PM

Work Type

90% remote with very few face to face meetings required with the team.
